This session will amplify the social and nutritional value of culturally rooted foodways. What does it look like to meaningfully engage the community to inform what meals are provided in cafeterias and other public meal settings? Presenters will share their meal planning processes, menus, and how cultural foodways are archives of ancestral knowledge that serve as a foundation for sustainability, nutrition, and wellness education for the communities they serve.

Esta sesión amplificará el valor social y nutricional de las formas de alimentación con raíces culturales. ¿Cómo faciliatar un proceso comunitaria para informar qué comidas se ofrecen en las cafeterías y otros entornos de comidas públicas? Los presentadores compartirán sus procesos de planificación de comidas, menús y cómo las comidas culturales son archivos de conocimiento ancestral que sirven como base para la educación en sostenibilidad, nutrición y bienestar para las comunidades a las que sirven.
