This session will provide farmers and food producers with the Good Food Purchasing Program (GFPP) basics. Join this session to learn how the GFPP policy increases demand for local, sustainable food and ways that farmers can best set themselves up to leverage GFPP for new market opportunities. This workshop will be part info session, part listening session. Farmers will also have a chance to share their biggest concerns and challenges with institutional market sales.

Esta sesión brindará a los agricultores y productores de alimentos los aspectos básicos del Programa de Compra de Alimentos Saludables (GFPP, por sus siglas en inglés). Únete a esta sesión para aprender cómo la política del GFPP aumenta la demanda de alimentos locales y sustentables, y las maneras en que los agricultores pueden prepararse para aprovechar el GFPP para nuevas oportunidades del mercado. Este taller será en parte una sesión informativa y en parte una sesión de interlocución. Los agricultores también tendrán la oportunidad de compartir sus mayores preocupaciones y desafíos con las ventas institucionales en el mercado.
