My name is Kenya Vera-Sample
I am creator and co-curator of Produce n Protest which is an agricultural organization that intersects activism as it relates to all impacted systems. I am also founder and co-owner of Du Sable City Ancestral Winery and Vineyards. My experience is in the areas of sustainability, agriculture(biodynamic farming), education, mental health/community health, entrepreneurship and most importantly as a Daughter, Wife and Mother. For the last 12+ years urban farming  has provided me with opportunities beyond my realm of possibilities, grown new family members, connected me to nature and community, while deepening my sense of purpose. /////
